We always live stopping at this local Mexican restaurant to enjoy good dip and food. Service is consistently fast, friendly and efficient.

The carnitas were ok, a bit dry.Service was okay, I think there looked shortstaffed here. Tons of space, but not enough to keep up with the flow.

Pretty awesome food! Probably as close to authentic as you can get in this part of the country. Great options that aren't typically available (tongue, tripe, goat, etc.) Great service and wonderful people!

This place was such a wonderful find. The food makes you feel like you're sitting in someone's kitchen, just catching up over some tamales. 10/10 try the Pozole on the weekends!!

Got my order all wrong, tea was souring. Not like it used to be. Meat was overcooked and dry. Nice waiter.

Besides the fair price and good attitudes I wasn’t impressed the queso wasn’t very good had a funny taste to it. Both chimichangas were really oily I literally had to soak it up with a napkin but the beans and rice was good.

Amazing Traditional Mexican Food! We have been frequent attenders since 2006. It only get's better with time. The food is always tasting great; the service is always friendly and fast. Awesome Price!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurant in Memphis. Highly recommend the torta cubana which I find myself craving all too often. If you like some heat to your salsa ask your server for the spicy salsas (there's a verde + roja).

Chips and salsa pretty good. The tacos are awesome, but the shrimp tacos need more seasoning or flavor. The best was the carnitas and the spicy pork (shown below). Nice people and clean restaurant. Will definitely go back. 10 tacos and a tea for $30

Years ago this was my favorite Restaurant, I hadn't been in years and I went today. The food is still awesome and the dining area is very clean. I ordered the chimichanga lunch special with rice only and it was out in five minutes piping hot!!!!

I ordered the breakfast chorizo tacos. The tortillas were sooo good. Super fresh loved loved.

Great authentic restaurant. Good and quick service. Asked our waitress if the salsa was spicy hot and she brought out two other types. Just an all around good place to go.

I ordered fajitas..this was a mistake coming here. The queso was watery and runny. The corn and flour tortillas were hard. The guacamole was tasteless. The beans were watery and runny and the rice was just nasty. I dont know who gave this place 4.2 stars but they dont know what real mexican food is. Nope wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and will never eat here again. This place is awful. They have 3 microwaves on the counter for a reason..the server was nice they need lessons on how to cook at this place

start with the chips and salsa were crisp and tasty. They have a new baked half chicken that was great and very moist, hope it stays on the menuI had the asada chiliquelles and the meat and green Verde were great. It does come covering a large amount of corn tortillas which I could have used less, my bad for not knowing . I will try 1 of the many grilled shrimp dishes on the next visit.

Very good Mexican restaurant that Latinos love which is usually a very good sign. Reasonably priced. Free parking. Large with party area available. Great food variety and items are good. Service good, too! Large servings. Too much to eat. Consider sharing.

Typical mexican restaurant...except they don't sell margaritas. Definitely a disappointment, and I won't be back because of that fact.

The zopes de asada are delicious and I would come back just for that. However, I didn't like that the restaurant has 3-4 microwaves on the counter to reheat the food......I mean, its right in front of the customers. Everything should be authentic and cooked on that day not reheated 🙈

Have always loved coming to eat here! Moved into a new area of town and haven't been able to come back for a few months but everything is delicious as always. Pictured here are the chicken super nachos, a goat taco, tongue taco, and fish taco. Corn tortillas are made fresh in the restaurant!

This place is amazing. Service is great and staff is very kind. Food is great. Never had a problem here and been going for years.

Pozole on weekends. Make sure you request cabbage for traditional serving or you’ll get lettuce, which doesn’t give the better taste. Other than that, pozole is descent.

I guess I'm just not a Mexican eater, because this food was really terrible.

Ordered fajita meat and guac only due to low carb diet. Meat was not hot, mixed with onions and peppers, and lots of gristle. Clearly made yesterday at the earliest and warmed up. I picked out the .eat that I could and a couple of bites of guac. Yuck

My favorite place to eat regularly. Great service and authentic food. Really good pazole and menudo. If you like to eat it on the weekends I would highly suggest going to check this place out. The in house chips and salsa are always a must! I also would suggest trying their chimichangas!!

Gurgle wants me to tell you the reason that I love this place. The food is very good. It is much more authentic than Tacky Bell. But, it lags behind Mi Tierra's in authenticity. But one must consider the issue of location. La Guadalupana is here in Memphis, but Mi Tierra's in San Antonio. This place and Las Delicias are tied for the lead in the "My Flavorite Mexican" restaurant in Memphis. They brot some greenish brown stuff to the table to go along side of the standard salsa. It was yummy. I highly recommend this place.

The best taco is the tongue taco. Salsa is delicious, chips thick and crisp with no grease. Attentive servers and good food...not your typical Mexican resturant.
